The cupboard colour and texture is just beautiful and as for the worktops and upstands I am so thrilled with the look (thank you Mark for suggesting the ‘posh laminate’ it’s amazing).

Perry is wonderful – he really cares about his work and has done a splendid job.

I’m a bit gushy I know but at the age of 43 this is my first decent kitchen! I do all the cooking so I am allowed to call it mine 😊

Dear Lisa,

It really is lovely and I am delighted with the outcome. Everything is just perfect, from the colour of the doors to the final choice of worktop to the new units and breakfast bar. The cargo bin is such a winner in every way and I am loving my granite sink top and the hot water tap! 

Overall it is a true transformation and you and Mark have provided me with a dream space. I must thank you for the time and care you took to get things right, especially the worktop!

I have to say that I was dubious at the outset about the concept of a makeover because I am more than just fussy about detail and I am reluctant to have contractors as they rarely meet my expectations for standards of finish.

I am delighted to tell you that you comfortably overcame my reservations. Your fitter had to work with cabinet carcasses that are 35 years old and which have been through 2 previous upgrades (although not door replacement). His willingness to identify previous problems and offer to correct them meant that the completed work looks close to a new kitchen. He has restored my faith in the British craftsman – although no doubt the next one will bring me back to my usual cynical view!
